Roberta Di Laura, born in 1992, professional dancer, dance teacher and choreographer, after her first studies in Taranto, her hometown, she studied with teachers from the most important academies in the world including ‘Vaganova Ballet Academy of St. Petersburg’, ‘Paris Opera’, “Vienna Opera”, “Bolshoi Ballet” in Moscow, “Cuba Ballet”, “English National Ballet - London”, “Steps on Broadway” in New York, “Contemporary Dance School Hamburg”, “Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris”, “Royal Ballet of Flanders”. Graduated in classical, modern and contemporary dance at the L.U.D.T of Mantua with recognition from the Ajkun Ballet Theatre of New York, she also took part in workshops and courses at academies such as "La Scala Ballet School", "Rom Opera Ballet School", "Scuola del Balletto di Roma" where she also attended a stage with the legendary Carla Fracci. Also noteworthy is her participation in Florence in the prestigious ‘Master of high classical academic training for teachers of the Vaganova method’ with Irina Sitnikova (Vaganova Ballet Academy, Russia).
In July 2013, at only 20 years, she joined, after selection by curriculum the ‘International Dance Council’ in Paris partner UNESCO (the world's top organisation for all dance forms). Thanks to her appointment as a CID Member, she is qualified to award her students the prestigious ‘International Certificate of Dance Studies’ and to participate in the World Dance Research Congresses promoted by the UNESCO CID, representing Italy with honour in the world. She has presented dance works of research, many of which were aimed at enhancing the Apulia, for the World Congresses held in Athens, St. Petersburg, Avignon, Moscow, Warsaw, where she was the protagonist of a photographic exhibition at the University of Warsaw and the National Ethnographic Museum in Warsaw, and also in Canada, Florida, Ukraine, Bahamas and Tokyo, where she was the only Italian to send a research work on dance and to represent Italy abroad.

She also regularly organises examination sessions for her students in the presence of prestigious juries, is artistic director of the ‘International Certification of Dance Studies’ ceremony, and organises and choreographs numerous performances of her students abroad. They have already performed in Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Greece where they danced at the ‘58th World Dance Research Congress’ in Athens (Greece).
In 2024, she was artistic director and choreographer of the show ‘Sleeping Beauty’ staged in Filderstadt (Germany), which was also followed by the broadcaster Regio Tv Stuttgart.
Since 2016 she has been collaborating with the international cultural association ‘Universum Academy Switzerland’ with which she realises cultural and artistic events such as: ‘Gran Gala Universum’, ‘International Alexander Prize’, ‘International Universum Woman Prize’, ‘International Young Excellence Prize’, ‘Universum Literary Prize’, ‘Veritatis Splendor Prize’ held in Pescara, Rimini and Lugano. Within the Universum Academy she has received important nominations and prestigious appointments including:
Ambassador for Peace, Ambassador at Large, Artistic Director International Universum Dance Award, Head of the Youth Department, Head of the Art, Dance, Fashion, Entertainment Department, Artistic Director of the ‘International Festival of Popular Dance and Music’, appointment as Deputy Commander of the Diplomatic Corps, Vice President.
She is currently the presenter and organisational director of the Universum Academy events as well as President of the Universum Donna International Prize.
In 2020 she was mentioned in the ‘Pages of Celebrities and socialites’ of ‘STARS’ Illustrated Magazine New York among the most influential global personalities of the year. In 2021 she has founded the ‘Roberta Di Laura - International Dance Project’ for the teaching and creation of international projects in the field of dance, which was officially presented at the 57th World Dance Research Congress in Moscow.
In the same year, she became a member of the World Artistic Dance Federation. Since 2021, she has taken part annually in the "General Assembly" promoted by the International Dance Council at the UNESCO Palace in Paris, among the most prestigious personalities on the international dance scene.
Since 2024, she has been co-artistic director of the ‘Tanzfestival Stuttgart’, an international dance festival in Stuttgart.
In December 2024, she conceived and artistically directed the ‘International Dance Gala - Roberta Di Laura’ staged in Milan (Campo Teatrale) to celebrate the tenth anniversary of her career.
